RAGBRAI XXXVIII
Information page It is the time of the year to be thinking about RAGBRAI. Andy and Perm Horst are chairing the organizational duties of the QCBC RAGBRAI charter. Dixon J. Novy has assumed the responsibilities of QCBC RAGBRAI Registar. RAGBRAI is a great experience for those who have joined us in the past and we hope that new cycling enthuasists may accompany us as well.
The ride will be July 25 through July 31, 2010 on a route to be announced in late January. Watch for the registration application and the Register's release form in the December, January and February issues of Pedalwheeling. The deadline for returning your registration and release forms will be February 20nd, 2010. Cost for the wristbands will be $140.00 each. Transportation to the start of the ride and haul your bags for the week will be $125.00 and bus return from the ending town will be $50.00 per person. This is a great Christmas idea for that someone that has everything and wants to do RAGBRAI.

If you are not a member of the QCBC by the end of December 2009, you will need to put your name in the Des Moines Register lottery. If they select you, we should have space available to transport your bike and luggage for a required fee.
Please do not request wristbands from more than one source. The Des Moines Register does a computer check and will not issue any passes to you if you are found requesting a wristband from multiple sources. Also, the bike club gets penalized.
