QCBC Annual Dinner
Guest speaker Chris Sweet, from Illinois Wesleyan University is standing with an 1898 Sylph Model S bicycle. Chris will be the clubs featured speaker at the Sunday November 5th QCBC Annual Banquet being held at the Camden Centre in Milan IL. The event will kick off with a social hour from 4:00 - 5:00 pm followed by a buffet dinner from Bridge's Catering of Rock Island. Professor Chris Sweet will present "The History of Cycling in Illinois". In addition Steve Depron owner of Bike & Hike of Rock Island will have a display of vintage bike at the banquet.

Following Professor Sweet's presentation the club will recognize club members having ridden their first Century, Award of Merit, Volunteer of the Year, as well as the Hall of Fame recipient.

Online registration will then continue until October 29th at $20.00 per person. Club members wishing to register by mail must do so by October 23rd - send checks to QCBC Banquet 4814 Hamilton Drive, Davenport IA 52807. There will be no "walk-in" registration at the event.
