I spoke with someone from the Ioaw American Water Company this morning
about the "earth works / flood wall" that is still in place on the
path. She told me that they will try to have a cut through in place
this week so one can ride the path again. I also suggested that they
contact the media, i.e. QC Times when this happens.

The Moline Bike path has been finished and is a clean nice ride. Beware of the routing as we are placed on walks with acute angles down by Bass Landing.
The Railroad Crossing west of the Cresent Rail bridge has been re-done with fresh concrete surface. See the picture below. Still a sharp turn but the surface is much smoother until the trains break it up.
