Trail Alert
Was just called by my contact at IA American Water who said they have
'cut holes' in the dike this afternoon to allow through access for
bikers and pedestrians. People will access the trail through the
Lindsay Park Yacht Club parking lot rather than the trail section that
ran closer to the IA American building next to the driveway.
Should flood waters return they will close they trail and seal the
dike again. There will also be a time they have to close the trail to
complete the remainder of the cleanup in the weeks to come.
Should have a clear commute for B2WW.

The Moline Bike path has been finished and is a clean nice ride. Beware of the routing as we are placed on walks with acute angles down by Bass Landing.
The Railroad Crossing west of the Cresent Rail bridge has been re-done with fresh concrete surface. See the picture below. Still a sharp turn but the surface is much smoother until the trains break it up.
