Andy Tolle will be leading a QCBC A-B group ride this Saturday starting at 9am in Andover, IL. We will meet in the parking lot on the east side of the lagoon near the picnic shelter. There are bathrooms close by and a Casey's across the street. The ride will head south out of Andover on Henry County 9 towards Woodhull. We will then cross over Illinois 17 to Henry County 30 and continue south into Knox County. There are two stop options: Altona at 22 miles or Wataga at 31 miles and can make the call during the ride. The roads are blacktop in Henry County and a combination of blacktop and chip and seal in Knox County. The weather forecast for the ride is between 66-74 deg with 10-11 mph winds from the NE.

Group “B” 17-20 mph. Riders in this group should be familiar with drafting and be able to actively participate in the pace line. These rides are normally “drop rides” with speeds of 20+ mph at times. This group tends to be a more intense ride over a shorter period than C group. Riders in this group normally ride daily.
