QCBC RAGBRAI XLV Charter Service
Jul 23-29 2017
The QCBC RAGBRAI XLV Charter Service for Lottery TAG Applicants is available for those needing transportation services with one of the longest standing charter providers. RAGBRAI, (Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa) is a seven-day bicycle ride across the state. Entering its 45TH year, RAGBRAI continues to be the oldest, largest and longest bicycle touring event in the world.
RAGBRAI will tell you that if you're embarking on your first RAGBRAI, it is best to use an experienced charter service so why not let us handle the daily details for you? We'll provide this mid-range service for you at costs well below your budget. If you are joining us alone or with a group, you will feel welcome in our charter knowing that our veteran crew and cyclists will be looking out for you. Through our own unique wristbands, you'll be able to recognize fellow QCBC guests out on the road, always willing to lend a hand, inner tube or smile to make your vacation with us a calendar event for years to come.
You must be a RAGBRAI TAG applicant in order to use any of the QCBC charter services. Paid in Full reservations are being accepted with proof of your RAGBRAI wristband purchase. If you have yet to receive your weeklong TAG number from RAGBRAI when you register with us, you will need to forward that information after obtaining your official notification on or about May 01st.
Entering our 45th year, the Quad Cities Bicycle Club RAGBRAI Charter Service will begin and end in the Quad Cities, as always. Leave your vehicle in our FREE weeklong parking area and enjoy your "car free" vacation knowing you do not have to hassle with finding parking at either the beginning or ending town. We'll then transport you and your gear back to the Quad Cities where you will have your choice of three (3) interstates to take you back home. If you are flying, we can provide transportation to and from our own Quad City International Airport (MLI).
The Quad Cities Bicycle Club RAGBRAI Charter provides quiet/family friendly campsites. Our reserved campsites for the week include cold beverages for sale, multiple charging stations, floor pumps, basic tools and our camp's own private, portable sanitation units (KYBOS) in-camp at each overnight town.
Our charter service members are far from being local. Last summer we hosted cyclists from thirty-one (31) different states.
We welcome all Active Military, Veterans and First Responders Ð THANK YOU for your service.
Please click on the above active links and read the instructions in their entirety. All fees are payable during your online registrations.
