RAGBRAI XLI QCBC Preferred Charter Service
Jul 21-27, 2013
RAGBRAI, The Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa, is an annual seven-day bicycle ride across the state. Heading into its 41st year, RAGBRAI is the oldest, largest and longest bicycle touring event in the world.
Quad Cities Bicycle Club RAGBRAI Charter is hosted by Chairman Tony Buck, who covers the organizational duties of the charter services and with Registrar Dixon Novy handling the registration duties and assisting in the daily charter operations.
The QCBC Charter provides reserved, family friendly "quiet" campsites. Our weeklong campsites include cold beverages for sale, two (2) hand-held device charging stations, new floor pumps, basic tools with work stand and private, portable sanitation units (KYBOS) in-camp each night just for our guests.
Our charter provides services to and from our own Quad City International Airport (MLI).
We welcome all veteran and active military personnel - THANK YOU for your service.
You must hold a RAGBRAI Tag in order to use any of our charter services. Paid in Full reservations are being accepted with proof of your RAGBRAI wristband purchase. Do not send in the charter application without your official TAG number printed out on it.
Our registered Charter Members will be privy to the QCBC RAGBRAI newsletters in April, May and June. These contain very helpful information such as hotels for our out of town guests, our local training rides, a complete list of what to pack, bike shipping, bike loading, packet pick up, those all importantly safety tips and much more information showing you why we are the premier charter service for RAGBRAI.
Please click on the above active links and read the instructions in their entirety. All fees are due to us at the time of your registration.
Thank you,
Dixon
