About this event
Join Dan and Angel Moreno on a loop ride out of Oregon, IL. We will use the 39 mile Bison – Reagan – John Deere Loop (city streets & county rds). This route travels across the Rock River twice, past grasslands with free ranging bison, by the small historical village of Grand Detour – the pioneer home of John Deere where he invented the modern plow in 1837 and the Nachusa Grasslands with spectacular views. There will be some rolling hills on this route. Food stop in Dixon at half way point. NOTE: (7/15) Group will not be meeting for optional dinner after the ride due to COVID-19 closures. 7/18/20 - Group is not carpooling from QC Area. Please drive to Oregon on your own. The drive is slightly over an hour and we hope to be departing for the ride by 9:30am. Please arrive by 9:15am
