Calendar - Event View

This ride is a fundraiser event to help kick-off Christmas in July for Bikes4tykes. The ride supports the purchase of bike packages that are given to Toys for Tots to distribute near Christmas. 

The ride itself is on the Mississippi River Trails in both Iowa and Illinois. You get to cross on the Rock Island Arsenal Bridge that has a swing span which allows barge traffic to pass. You can only hope to get stuck watching this process unfold in front of you. Brewery stops are on both sides of the river within blocks of the trail. When you cross on the I-74 Bridge, you'll want to stop in the center at the oculus and take a photo. 

If you've never been on the MRT trails, or these two bridges in the Quad Cities, this is a date you need to put on your calendar. $10 cash registration, day of event.
