Quad Cities Officer Memorial Bicycle Ride - Cancelled
About this event
This ride will take you on an approximately 50-mile, police escorted ride through the Quad Cities communities starting and finishing at Illiniwek Forest Preserve (exact route TBD). In the middle of the ride, we will stop at the Rock Island County Sheriff’s Office and the Law Enforcement Memorial for a moment of silence and prayer before riders’ bike back to Illiniwek.
In order for us to maintain a safe event, each rider shall be capable of riding a 12 to 15 mph pace. There will be a SAG wagon for minor repairs and maintenance, hydration and some nutrition. After the ride, please stick around for some cold beverages, a delicious meal and conversation with your fellow riders. The first 100 to register will receive a commemorative pint glass.
